Itinerary

DAY 1 / PRINCE ALFRED COOKING CLASS
Your guide picks you up from your hotel at 08h30. Today awaits you a special experience: „African Relish" is a cooking school in the middle of the Klein Karoo. The culinary hall is one of its kind and build just for the cooking experience. You enjoy luxury accommodation and discover the culinary rhythm of South Africa.On arrival you are greeted with a Welcome drink and check into the historic cottages. Enjoy a light lunch and experience the historical town during a walk with anecdotes about buildings and people.

Early evening you start the first cooking class and enjoy your selfmade dinner.

DAY 2 / AFRICAN RELISH
Today you prepare our lunch and dinner ourselves during exciting cooking classes. In between we have time for a guided tour along the Swartberg Pass with explanations about the production of olive oil,wine and milk products of this area.

DAY 3 / OUDTSHOORN
After a scrumptious brunch, check out and drive over the spectacular Swartberg Pass with magnificent views, to Oudtshoorn, the main capital of the ostrich industry. We visit an ostrich farm for a tour and check in at Rosenhof Country Hotel. Time to relax and use of Spa facilities or explore the beautiful surroundings on foot.

In the evening we enjoy a 3 course dinner in the traditional country cuisine of the hotel.

DAY 4 / ROBERTSON
After a lovely breakfast, check out and drive along the Klein Karoo to Robertson. The route 62 is truely an experience: a half desert with its own fauna and flora and an abundance of Karoo lamb on private farmland.

On arrival in Roberson, check into the Small Roberston Hotel. Time for a walk in this little town or just relax at the pool.In the evening you enjoy a 3 course dinner at Reubens Restaurant, known for masterchef Reuben Riffel, who has received plenty of rewards and is also known as judge for Masterchef South Africa.

DAY 5 / FRANSCHHOEK
After breakfast check out and drive via Franschhoek Pass to the picturesque town of Franschhoek. This town is known as the gourmet capital of South Africa and is home of some of the top Restaurants in Cape Town.

Stop at a winefarm for winetasting and after check in to the guesthouse, time to relax or a stroll through this lovely town.

In the evenings a real culinary delight awaits us: a 8 course menu with wine pairing at the Tasting room, Le Quartier Francais Restaurant!

DAY 6 / STELLENBOSCH & GOOD BYE
After check out you visit Stellenbosch, the second oldest town, for a city orientation and a stroll through oak shaded streets with historic and restored buildings.

Enjoy a last lunch at a top Restaurant: Delaire Graff with views of the beautiful Drakenstein valley before dropping you back at the Cape Town hotel or Airport.

Time to say good bye.
